Tipper body specialists Devon?

Hi guys

 

Just wondered if anyone knew of a decent tipper body fabricator near as possible to Devon.

I am currently running an LDV tipper and the back has rusted out a lot so just looking to replace that part as the ram and cab itself are absolutely fine.

I couldn't find anybody when i asked the same question a few months ago. Exeter coachworks gave me a quote but i got the impression they didn't want the work. I've asked a local fabricator to do mine but small scale is proving very expensive! 5.5 plus vat for high sided tipper on l200 mitsubishi with roof rack and underbody boxes.

someone i know got their cabstar converted through exeter coach works, and i believe it cost them 8k..

I think a few people on here have used a company in birmingham and got a high sided tipper for 2.5k and they are pleased with them. My chap said he couldn't even get the parts for that!

Someone i know made a tipping body for his ranger, all materials including the ram were around 1.2k (i think?!) i can definitely see it costing a lot more for a transit etc.

i got a fabricator chap i know. He can do this type of work, TIG welds alloy etc. He's built a few fish and chip vans so is well versed. If anyone wants his details PM me as oil not put his home number up on a public forum.
