As expected from you - but it doesn't change the facts.

How on earth do you go on thinking and believing that data on paper or even in tests is the same as facts?

It's like saying the Cummins QSV91 has higher output than a Jenbacher 320. Well no shi Sherlock. The qsv is like the 560xp, wonderful data on low btu, facts are that it's in bits while the J320 plods on.

Facts eh.

Is it more torquey though , like a Mac 125 ?

It will be interesting too find out , nobody has tried one out in anger on YouTube there is only a couple of videos of a South American guy cutting

Iam 80% sure it's near enough the same displacement as a 3120

I bottle fed the pro-Mac 125 to get it started after reassembling again after the hand oiler became detached but I overdone it and the dragons breath came out the muffler I can see now how these devils destroy the muffler's :biggrin:

.

The max power specs usually are surprisingly close when they are tested by a major test facility on a certified dyno, at least from the major brands - seldom more than .1 kw off, and usually spot on (with one decimal).

That said, the max power (and max torque) numbers are of course just a snapshot of one point of the power curve trough the rpm each, so they aren't the full story.

  • 2 weeks later...

its 116cc 58mm bore and 44mm stroke

dont let the numbers fool you, will kick 880/3120 in stock form anyday of the week

i've met echo engineers at my dealers when they come down to conduct studies/market claim etc

the guy said the other top "2'' competitors specs are inflated by 20+% in terms of hp

but torque are almost there, echo believes in broad range power output apparently

and hp is just half the equation which is why they are not interested in spec war

i remember someone did a dyno and found out 660 puts out 5.7hp instead of marketed 7hp, the guy did some comparisons with other models and they werent meeting the spec. but 660 was far off, which i believe is overrated

i know for a fact 1201 is alot more powerful than 070 which is the most used for rainforest logging in my region
