25" Sugi light type.

I think more the chain - I bet when you've used it for a bit you may find that it stretches and then you could take a link out and it would fit fine.

 

 

A true test is put a new oregon chain on there - but I did that in the video and on a 7 pin it fit fine....

 

 

Just because their 72 d/l chain fits on the 20" bar doesn't translate to the 84 d/l fitting the 25" bar.

 

 

So at this stage I'd say it is because of a slight shorter chain length on that make of chain - but no big deal and adding another drive link solves it.

I'll get an Oregon one at some point and see. It's still weird that their chain fits a 28" bar fine and my mates got a 30" Sugi on his 660 and their chain fits that fine too?

 

Could you maybe measure a 25" bar when you have a spare minute please?
