What's around Kent?

I'm in Kent for a few days in a small van. Wouldn't mind taking a decent millable piece back with me. Anything 400mm+ wide and I could squeeze about 4-5' length in the van! Just want the one piece to get some nice planks from. Don't want to make the van sweat too much!

There was a guy on arbbay called Mathew Burgin who had some nice holm oak for sale nr Sevenoaks. I saw at a country show recently milling with an Alaskan. You should be able to find him on Facebook

Staying in Maidenhead. Back up towards Bromley tomorrow but around ramsgate weds and thurs.

I'm also after a decent chunk for carving into a postbox. 12" wide and 18" tall ish. Anything like that I'm a bit short on at my pile! Most of it has been shortened and split!
