Just bought this. Going to put a lid on the roof and paint it olive drab and black.

Only 190k miles so it's only just run in

Will post pics as it progresses

Tidy looking mk3 you have there. Olive drab and black sounds awful, gotta be blue or white for a mk3, maybe red if you're the sportier type☺

 

Roughtrax for parts, hpoc forum for any mechanical advice.. enjoy

I would leave it the colour it is. If I was a customer I would not be impressed with you turning up in olive drab and black. To me it doesn't give a professional appearance.

Thanks guys. It's made me think twice about the colour now. Didn't realise it was a mk3. Drives great for its age and runs like dream. Legally carries more than a tranny too.

Perhaps its just preference, but why not paint it Timberwolf orange to match the chipper?

 

You would stand out from the crowd and be instantly recognisable to current and future potential customers.

 

Not for everyone I expect, but just a thought...

The ones I owned carried 700 kg legally.
