I think your friend should have sent these photos straight to the police rather than you!

 

 

Ooo... hash. Though my friend used to be a copper.

 

Think it was a " soft dutchman with a tapered hinge " . Only thing wrong I can see is its not a Hornbeam ! :biggrin:

 

 

That made me chuckle.

 

I think this sort of thing is disgusting and something should be done. Thoroughly unprofessional. He has wasted at least a bag of logs in that stump.

 

 

Apparently he left a chunk, so my friend could drill holes and make a beehouse. Mind I agree, there's 20 quid of garage bought firewood there.

 

The real problem is the landlord ditched going to a wedding with his wife so he could fell this tree.....

 

 

News on the grapevine, is next week he's not going to another wedding in favour of painting a fence.
