Allowed on two lane carriageways even that article says narrow lane go single file. Whilst it may seem a personal vendetta against cyclist . I'm quoting from recent experience. Recently went all the way through a village following a single cyclist could not overtake, I drive tractors and heavy goods vehicles. I will pull over to let others progress, a truck is a lot harder to pull up than a bike.

Also recently I was going down a country lane near York when I came across a cyclist stopped resting, he was stood on the verge with bike on the road. Never shifted. I had to mount the verge with 32 tons of truck. To get past him. He was facing me and saw me coming (not speeding)That is either blatant ignorant of arrogant..

 

The problem I see. Our roads are busier and then people exercise their rights to use them in rude ways. Whereas I grew up with the green X code were your safety was your perogitive.

Now it's the insured road user that cops it.

 

Plus I've had my fair share of nasty bully trucker syndrome. green cross code
