That's good to know although Perth is a little more central (hint) but I could stretch to Edinburgh. Have you put this course on in Scotland before and had a poor turnout? Its just I have not seen it advertised up here in the past.

I could be persuaded to get a hire car and come up to Perth but again it depends on numbers. I don't think we've tried to run the ROLO course before but others we've had to cancel unfortunately.

So I assume that operatives in Scotland are either gaining the training from elsewhere or travelling south with an overnight stay. What is your experience of this? Do people tend to travel south to attend? For me many AA training events are just too far south. The additional costs associated with taking an further day off to travel to the venue, overnight accommodation and return travel make these courses too costly to attend.

Maybe, ask around.

I wholly acknowledge your point about "travelling south" and the additional cost and time etc and hence we are happy to "come north" but it has to be viable.

Best thing for people to do really is to register an interest in a ROLO course in Scotland with Tiff at Head Office and she'll manage it ([email protected])

Cheers..
