Several blokes in the fishing club have them good off road, same engine as my old cabstar 2.7 derv, bomb proof! I'm on my 6th Nissan, NISSAN don't make bad vehicles point blank!!!

i have a mate who works for murphys construction, they use the swb ones on site for towing bowsers and trailers round, he really rates them, they arent bad off road, i would consider one if i didnt really need my defender

Steer clear of the terano, they eat gearboxes if used for regular heavy towing, made to feel like a car so a bit lightweight for our kind of work. My brother had one before his navara, it was on its third gearbox when he sold it.

supprised by the gearbox issues my mates two have 135k and 160k miles on them without any bother
