Changing 576XP fuel line

Quick one, chaps... Anyone out there with experience changing the fuel line on a 576XP? How hard is it to do for a reasonably-competent person? Mine has spring a leak where it emerges from the tank and takes a sharp turn :(

I'm just keen to make sure it's not a killer job before I order a replacement part. If it is, I guess it'll have to go to the local dealer's workshop :(

Not done a 576 before but from experience, long handled pliers or surgeons/fishing forceps are pretty good at doing the job.

There are a few tricks I use on the straight forward pipe type fuel lines to get them through the sealing fuel tank wall such as cutting the end at an angle and using oil but just taking the tank off can help.

Make yourself a tool, take a piece of piano wire, bend the end over to create a u, flatten in a vice, grind a flat on the u to create a barb, feed throught the crankcase and into the tank, feed out through the filler hole, cut the end of the new hose off at an angle, push the wire into the hose, pull the hose out so as the barb cut into the hose and secures it, now gently pull the wire back pulling the hose up throught the tank and crankcase, trim the end and re fit to the carb, i have made a few of these, fitted and handle on the end to create a very good tool.
