Here is the dolmar version MH-246.4DS this is there shortest version at 1.78m

4-stroke engine quiet and smooth engine only 6kg

 

 

Or you could try Garden Kit and look at the Tanaka they do a short shaft version

Looking for a short shaft version with an adjustable head.

 

Domestic use, to accompany a HS81r stihl machine. Something as short as this husky would be ideal, but cheaper would be good. Alternative suggestions welcome. thanks.

 

 

I had one of those Husky trimmers years ago and it was probably the best trimmer I've ever had.

Money well spent.

I use a Stihl KM56 with an Expandit attachment about £290 all in

 

How does well the ryobi kit work/last ? Heard a while ago that they fit each other but haven't seen it myself.

 

To the op, I can recommend the stihl combi system with the 135 cutting head, faultless.

Buy Ryobi at your peril.

 

I stopped buying their junk over ten years ago, because it's all crap.:thumbdown:
