Out and about with my wife in London yesterday and came across these old catalpa's at the Houses of Parliament.

I was wondering if anyone knows how old they are . ImageUploadedByArbtalk1466264284.830228.jpg.b77479cdd774c180b0609d53b526a83b.jpg

I really like to have a look at your stomping ground at some point I think my boys would love it 😎

At a recent event held in Westminster gardens by the AA for the APPGHG, ALL PARTY PARLIAMENT GROUP FOR HORTICULTURE AND GARDENING, Kenton Rogers discussed the catalpas there and used itree to demonstrate to governmental members and relevant departments the value of trees in the urban environment. Consequently this has put the value of trees in the urban environment and the practitioners that manage them, very much on the political radar.

A very significant development in the plight of maintaining the uk tree canopy.

Those trees are beauties!!!
