Lightest, coolest (for tropics) trousers

I'm a 32 waist have the medium trousers and they are a loose fit round the waist fine with a belt. Comfortable around the legs in 17yrs there my best trousers to date.

Engelbert Strauss type a's are my choice for a hot day. Vents behind the knees and are lightweight. Cheap at £120.

How stretchy are they? Hows the fit on them?

The material isn't stretchy (like my stretch airs) but is lightweight and very durable. They come in short, regular and long which is what swung it for me. I'm 34W 34L in jeans and the 34L trousers fit perfect. I'm going to order another pair soon

Are they lighter and cooler than your stretch airs? Are your stretch airs this model?

Sorry, only just saw your reply. My stretch airs are type c's and the engelbert Strauss trousers are MUCH lighter and cooler. There's little zips behind the knees which I leave open for ventilation.
