Been working with a few chaps from the Oil Rigs who swear by the discontinued Petzl Ecrin Helmet (they particularly like Green) anyone got one they want to sell? I have a poor chap who got his seized at customs and is inconsolable! I'll be at the Arb show at the weekend...happy to give buy at a reasonable price? Find me in the Treekit tent!:thumbup1:

I have 2 both about 15 years old, (I don't use then for tree work any more) a red one and a white one... The metal brackets to fit the ear defenders on were a bit of a mare but they certainly outlasted the modern stuff! The red one is like new....

 

I am not going to the arb show however...

Why are the green ones so good? Or is it all of them?

No idea about why they like the green ones and they command such a price....we keep asking. A couple of chaps said that they were comfy and that was it, but we think there must be some hidden code!!
