8000kg divided by 32 (250) then times it by 11 =2.75kg

 

Only8 Kgs to start with!!

 

Thats not right htough, its only the moisture that has changed in weight not the wood. So with the calc above the 2.75kg is the reduction in weight then taken away from the original to leave 5.25kgs

 

Oh you edited already! Correct 8000g.

I'm wrong but the above is still not right.

 

weight lost by drying is not 21%, then 21% of the original etc etc, because that assumes the 21% lost was lost from the whole mass of wood, when in fact it was only lost from the moisture content part of it.

 

So it 21% lost from the 32% that was moisture??
