haha. good advert but its not saying much, given that the old one was so asthmatic.

If you want a proper 4x4, get a nissan Patrol :proud:

what the fuel consumption like on a Hi lux. Id really like one but I do about 400 miles a week at least which in my saxo cost me about £50 about 45mpg and I dont really want to be paying a fortune for petrol. I no its going to be quite a bit more though.

Hahahha your 'avin a giraffe mate, I've owned dozens of Landy's, and love the green oval, but give me the Patrol anyday, or maybe a landcruiser - particularly if you intend on reaching your destination....

 

If you really want to see the difference, jack a patrol up and check out all the running gear compared to a landrover - the LR stuff is puny by comparison.

 

When Ewan Mcgregor biked round the world, and down to cape town what was his support vehicle?

Or what is the most commonly used 4x4 by the UN, Peacekeepers, Film crews, etc?

The patrol even predates the Landrover...

yes very true but what vehicle got stuck driving through the river bit on long way down, yer got ya there. Landy would have made it no probs. A landy is the real 4x4. And look way nicer and more adaptable so really there just better.
