Other thing to check is the stop bar must be positioned correctly. If it's not the rollers will move slowly and you ll hear a hissing sound from the hydraulics wiggle the bar to get it into correct position.

have you got a manual for the machine?, could be worth sourcing if your unfamiliar with the machine.

some anvils are reversible so you can turn it over and use the other edge.

id get a second set of blades as you would probably want them whilst the old ones are being sharpened.

redwood global have been helpful for the work jensen.

You can do the top rollers by just unbolting and lifting out to grind each blade, just a tickle not loads. The bottom ones would have to come out but it's the top ones that make a big difference. If you could be bothered, you could reach in with a dremmel to do the bottom but it would be slow!

The anvil on mine is reversible but yours may have already been turned. And definitely get a 2nd or even 3rd set of blades and have them sharpened at a proper place.

thanks for all your help conclusions found; blades shagged to the point they cant be sharpened also infeed roller bairings are shot and they need sharpening to!!

Won't be cheap. When I got mine I needed to do the top roller bearing, but also the shaft as it was well worn. I think the bits alone were over £200 then there's labour if can't do it yourself
