Stump Grinding - South Bucks (lots of it)

Question

Hi, we moved to a new house (for us) last summer which has a large garden which for the last nine months we have gradually been clearing. Recently had an arborist in to cut down the last of the trees that needed removing (hedge line that had got out of control).

We have probably a solid weeks work...maybe more...stump grinding that need30-40 tree stumps plus stumps from woody shrubs.

We've had a quote from current arborist which seems very expensive so very happy to use someone else.

If nobody interested in quoting I'd be interested to know what people think is a fair rate for 5 days work. One person and a stump grinder.

Access is very good.

I'd be staggered if it could be done in a day, maybe I've made it sound too easy. Stumps are not all in one place. The last bit of felling was one tree line but there's been a fair bit down before that.

All corners of our 2 1/2 acres. I reckon just moving around would take a while!

Well anyway, the bigger the better the cheaper for you. Especially if you do the clear up afterwards.

Clear up it is not a problem....have a couple of huge piles of wood chips that can happily be added to which will be composted over time.

I am sure you're right about the bigger the better!

Okay...I have massively under estimated. Just went for a walk round the garden. I had forgotten how many small trees/large shrubs the gardener has removed on top of the trees felled recently and there are quite a few from before we moved in which have been uncovered when we cut undergrowth back.

It's more like 100!
