Enthusiastic weekend volunteer, Bath-based

Hi All

 

I'm looking for some weekend/bank holiday volunteer experience, with a view to taking my first chainsaw tickets soon. Based in Bath but happy to travel.

 

I'm a hard worker (property lawyer - would be fun to know if there are any others on here?!) keen to develop a new skill, get outdoors, and possibly equip myself for a change in the future.

 

Related experience includes labouring on construction sites and landscape gardening (including log splitting) during uni, also working on my own house and garden. A good day's graft is exactly what I need after sitting in an office all week.

 

I'll work tirelessly getting things organised on the ground. You'll get another pair of hands for free, and I'll pick up as much knowledge as possible for as long as you want me. Hopefully a win win for both of us.

(P.S. Any recommendations for NPTC course providers near Bath, or Derby? I can travel from both. I've checked online, but personal recommendations are always helpful.)
