hydraulic leak on a Z20E

HI CAN ANYONE HELP and tell what i need to do to stop this leak it is not FAST LEAK it is on the top of the slew ring it is a nut with a cap on it

That's a breather on a gear box and it shouldn't have hydraulic oil in it

 

How to stop it is probably the wrong question, why has it started spitting oil out is probably a better one

cherry picker mounted on to a datsun cabstar i believe.

The shaft seal has gone on the slew motor . Just one of those things.

There is nothing scary in there, undo the row of allen bolts that are on the same plane as the vent cup and pull it out. If you clean up the tag thats riveted to the motor by the vent cap you should be able to get a seal kit for it by quoting the numbers on it from any decent hydraulic shop.

Just got one to do a job on house and had no oil in the site glass top or bottom Iv out 3 gallon in but still not seeing any in glass .. it works ok but from cab with on one in,,, but when I use the cage it gets half way up and want work …
