Better re write your terms and conditions download on the website then Paul as I don't think it is included.

Granted it could do with "padding out" a bit but it is included:

1) Notice of the Right to Cancel “Cooling off period” – the client has a min. 14 days to cancel the contract (in writing) from acceptance date. In the event of cancelation at short notice costs may be proportionally incurred by the client.

I don't charge anything even for last minute cancellations, never have and never will. My terms are not written down anywhere - does that mean I am still breaking the LAW?

Unlike builders and the like we do not incur any costs before we turn up (with the exception of planting) so I have never had any issues. As Gary Prentice (IIRC) said adding this clause, or bringing it to the attention of a client would confuse most of them. I suspect the big commercial clients would be aware anyway.

I recon it is some communist plot to weaken our economy and let the Eastern Europeans overtake our businesses. Not really.
