yesturday had a good day at the isle of wight hedge laying competition some good work done by all. i managed to get 1st prize and best section by hand tools only . allso got the best stakes and binders with my mate russell coming a very close 2nd well done to all that took part and a thanks to the organizers for a good fun day

That's cool how long have you been doing it? I heard it very skilled and you need to be taught by someone good at it? I think I might look into more as the end result is outstanding and so much better than anything else I've seen

been doing a little bit for a while but started to do a few comps (6) over the last 2 years and trying to get more hedge laying work very rewarding when you see the end results and the regrowth later on . yes its important to find someone that really knows what they are doing . lot of trainers and courses out there that arent worth wasting your money or time on .

 

but lots of good ones and groups out there to depends where you are and what style you want to learn so worth doing your homework and finding the good ones that are out there

Thanks for advice I'm in the east mids so going to have a look around as you say the end result is fabulous and since only just getting into the industry another thing to look at being able to do.
