Slip knots for log bundles?

Can anyone show me a video of how to tie a know that would secure my log bundles. Ideally a slip knot but with something extra so that once pulled tight I can cut it and it will stay tight. There will be a lot tension on the rope so all knots need to be tied before I pull it tight with the hydraulics

I can't remember what it's called but I tie a simple overhand knot in the end of a rope, which passes around the bundle. This first knot acts as a stopper for the second, which is another overhand knot tied around the standing end. You can then pull on the standing end and it works like a ratchet strap, the advantage being you can tie the knot with rope/string from a large ball (I use sisal) and then cut it off so very little wastage. Jam knot possibly? Similar to ABOK 2072

A clove hitch. It does mean you have to go round twice, a knot that once mastered invaluable. It constricts itself when pulled tight against a firm surface underneath it. Then you are free to finish the knot with ease.

In the right situation the twice round gives extra tension like a tandem pulley.
