not having much luck with work in somerset so thinking about moving to south wales ,newport area. is there any work round there ?

Have you not got transport? there is work in Somerset you just need to be able to turn up on site.

if buses and trains can get me there then yea i could be on site, never done my driving test but will as soon as i can afford to,got baby on the way and moving house on Saturday so skint at the mo !

I'm based near swansea, not all that close but......,

inundated with guys looking for jobs, with tickets that have been on the react scheme - gov money for retraining after redundancy, and guys who are phoning looking for work off the cuff so to speak. few one man bands stated up locally too.

sorry i know this sounds bad but on the other hand maybe it means the work is there to be had?

well from what i can see on arbjobs and arbtalk you would be better moving south to exeter way, seen two good jobs lately! As Deano says lots of people flooding south wales market. Where are you moving too anyway mate?

theres bits and pieces dude but not alot.jobs that are popping up are going for stupid money-peanuts really. as james said ppl flooding the area and everyone is trying to undercut everyone else:sneaky2:
