I have a a double ended alaskan running on two 051 power heads.

I'd take the lucas slabber any day of the week. Just a gentle push is all it needs.

Thought I'd update this thread with some of the first parts finished from this tree. Here's some pics of the oak trusses and purlins in. Still to come one more fake oak truss and an oak porch.

Pictures not great but will update when scaffold etc is out of the way.

Hopefully it's nice for people to see what these trees can be turned into and why we shouldn't rush to firewood them.

More oak always required.

Thsnks for the comments. Working with a friend on this one. Bit of a hospital job, but will keep the thread posted with the next stage.

Here's the next stage of the job. Oak porch. Scaffold just down today so can see it eventually.

Oak truss on front of porch utilised metal king post and angled top from the original barn were converting. Pitch was slightly wrong but made it fit.

Currently building some mezzanines inside so will post pics of that soon.

Still plenty of the tree left too.
