A while back Ron Asheton died. The name is probably unfamiliar to all but the most observant music fans, but Ron's guitar noise was inspiration for so many guitarists it would take far too long to name, he invented punk rock guitar back in 1967. A guitar noise that makes the heaviest rock band seem like the Nolan sisters. He was the instrument of power in the Stooges, who were and are by far, my most favorite band. It would be wrong for me to not mention his passing at every opportunity, including this one.

QTSA, elastica and the Strokes, all good, had abit of arave up there for 10 mins until the actual rave clip, then I sat back down again and drank some tea.
