Hi there,

Last year i went out and bought a new ms211 and carving bar etc, think it was a 12" bar

I've carved 4 or so owls with it etc but not done much.

I don't feel i have the time for it as you have to spend a long time getting good at it and then finding a market. Also i've never been artistic but i saw my friend carving a while ago and it inspired me to have a go.

Im not sure what to do yet but may have another go this year when weathers a bit better.

If i did decide to sell what sort of money can i expect to get back for it? Done hardly anything as said but dont expect new prices!

Many thanks

Chris

The saw New is about £270 atm so good used one maybe £ 150?

£200 with the carving setup.

You'd get more on eBay I expect

Hate ebay for selling. The saws probabilly been run for 4 hours or so so near mint. Will have a good think cheers

Stihl bars are about £70 I think, plus loop and sprocket. They're not the best bars but I'm sure someone would snap it up.

Another option is to switch it back to original setup and keep it as a backup, and sell the carving elements
