Go to "user C.P" (at the bottom of the home page) then click "edit avatar"....choose file and save changes...

Thanks but what I'm after is seeing others' avatars, which I don't though I used to, not to put up one of my own.

thats odd. Try clearing your cache maybe, or trying a different browser? They show up fine for me. Do you have some sort of image blocker plug in?

Bingo! User CP > Edit Options > Show avatars! It had become unticked somehow a long time ago, almost certainly due to user error.

 

new guy ti - that is so obviously a Monkey Puzzle stick; how did I not recognise it?!
