Our industry is relatively small in the claiming onb insurance department so you wont hear a lot about non payment of claims, but I'm sure if this were a driving forum you would have thousands of examples of insurance companies worming their way out odf paying a claim

In your case Dean, you had insurance for tree work, but were carrying out Constitution work.

 

I'm not saying they were right, but its not the same as them finding fault with your working practices. It was the task itself that they said you did not have cover for.

 

If insures could us poor practice to get out of things no one would ever get paid out.
