I ordered the Sofsole Airr Orthotic ones in the end.... not exactly cheap at £25ish, but my rigger boot wellies feel proper comfy now.

Unfortunately I've still got this niggling pain in my left foot.... hurts most when I curl my toes inwards. Tends to ache more at the end of the day.

Should I just shut up and hope it goes away or is this the kind of thing I should expect to happen from age 43+ ?

It's not really that bad. I'll shut up now.

Nice insoles though.

cheers, steve

Just don't curl your toes up. Problem solved

I need to buy another pair. Bought some scholl ones from tesco and they are rubbing so will be getting some more sofsoles when I fancy stumping the pennies up!

Bumping am old-ish thread as I'm looking for insoles now for my boots.

But is there any difference between summer and winter ones, as if the weather's on the turn for the better, I don't want my feet melting in my boots....???

I didn't notice you could get summer & winter versions.

Wouldn't it be best to wear more breathable footwear in the summer.... like a pair of Jesus boots (sandals). cheers, steve
