Any decay detection carried out?

 

Just a thorough mallet thump and climbing inspection. A friend of mine inspected the tree as a second opinion. The 1st report reccomended felling.

 

It wasn't that much fun pruning it. Almost every branch got hung up and I'm not as gibbon like as I once was. Trying to envisage the final form and pruning every other branch was a bit tricky, but I hope one of my other guys will finish it next winter.
