Pallets and where to buy them?

We have an ongoing issue finding decent reconditioned pallets. I need to buy reasonably heavy duty 1.2m x 1.2m ones. I have tried a few companies in my area and they either don't have any or don't get back to me.

Does anyone know someone in the South East who may be able to help me out?

That's an odd size they are special for the chemical industry to carry 4 45 gallon drums which is what you want them for obviously. Most pallet refurbishing outlets deal in 1200x1000 or 1200x800 euro pallets. The factory I used to work at got specials made and delivered from iPTS but they are a long way from you and probably a lot dearer than a local pick up option but if you are using a lot then they might be an option.

Since posting this I have actually managed to track down about 70 . Hopefully should keep me going for a bit. Thanks for the suggestions. The more contacts I have the more chance I have of getting a consistent supply.

I buy the heavy duty pallets (blue) from a pallet supplier in Harlow - pay £2.75+VAT
