just for the month to see if me and the misses likes it,then after that, sell some stuff off and go,i like the look of the cairns area, what kind of hours did you work.

i didnt really like cairns itself, well the city anyway...but then again im a country boy at heart. i lived about 2 hours south in the sleepy town of mission beach. gets seriously hot half the year and rains the other half. normaly started around 7 and worked till 4-5 depends of how hot it is. in oz by law you get a half hour break at 10 (paid) called smoko, then usualy an hour for lunch. so pritty much the same.

im a country boy too but the woman is an accountant so need to be close to the city but dont want to be too close and would like to be near the beach, anywhare you could recomend on the outskirts?

Hi all, I was wondering if theres anybody out there who is planning to go to work in Oz, I know theres a few posts on this subject but with the recent changes to the 'in demand' list for Oz (tree surgery / arborist has been removed) i was wondering if theirs another route in, I am over 30 so I am not eligable for a Work holiday visa. Any feeback would be much appreciated.
