As soon as I've got the chipper I'll post a clip of it in use and maybe do little review on it, the dealers Web page states it'll do 85/100mm dia wood so we'll see if that's being optimistic but one of those clips the fella is feeding in a fairly sizable piece of wood so we'll see.

85-100mm is being optimistic, it will do it but keep hold of it or else it will stall has it will try and drag it in one lump .

3" max and after that it's classed has a Torpedo log for pot belly stoves .

the jansen looks like all the other Chinese rip offs. I wouldn't waste my money personally. the least you want is a good engine ie Honda and good build quality. I have recently got a haecksler and its an amazing piece of kit.

you'll probably find that your haeckseler and gtm, jansen etc are all produced in the same factory only difference is the options that have been chosen by the respective brands on powerplants etc. that's not to knock your haecksler though its a fine piece of kit with a good spec as is the gtm and both were my first initial choice, but the jansen just did it on price for me and the fact i'm confident that parts will crossover. As soon as I get the machine if it does state place of manufacture i'll post it, if it is indead china and all others are Europe i'll eat humble pie. by the way anyone know out of curiosity just where gtm chippers are manufactured, all three manufacturers mentioned are german so maybe that's the answer who knows.

I am intrigued myself has to who makes them , one thing I can say is the weld quality and paint work are very good and not like the usual Chinese pigeon poo welding we see .
