Yeah, they gave me a good price on a machine for a week, but the haulage up north was a killer.

 

Raked and burnt with the excavator, just as quick in the end:001_smile:

so those airburners arent all what there cracked up to be?

i may be wrong but i was chatting too Mike at Green Mech and he was saying that they have a tracked mulcher that they hire out , this may or may not be of any help to you . i have been thinking about looking into hiring it to do some utility clearence work

i imagine they can be really good on some stuff but not for rhodies, i was burning waste timber by the 40yard skip load to keep it alight and wasnt getting no where near the volume of material burnt as what i was told

shame, those air burners look V impressive in the promo info....

think i like the idea of having a go with the mulcher over a flail - though will get a few prices. thanks CTS will give green mech a shout.

yeah it is mate, last time i had from them i asked for it to be sent on their small plant lorry and it turned up on a quad axle artic so muggins here has to track it a half mile through london streets.......oh the looks i got at the lights

 

I used to hire that from Coppards, I think we took it from brand new.

suitable for replanting straight away?
