Chin protection

Bit below the belt that one joe

Builder mate lost an eye on a building site

He has not been back since and is very very carefull now

I would wear glasses as well as a visor imo

Fair enough, it was meant as a joke.

If I offended the OP I'm sorry :)

I've got one decent eye and one that doesn't work so good. If I ever lost the bad one I'd barely notice. If I lost the good one I'd be buggered.

I don't use a visor. I climb a lot and find them a nuisance.

I use safe eye mesh goggles from Clarks. Best eye protection I've found, and worth a look for £15

The problem with mesh goggles, or any goggles is that they cut down peripheral vision, which is not good when you don't have a great deal anyway, hence the reason for wanting protection with a full mask.

No offence taken, by the way....got used to the one eye stuff a long time ago, hence the user name.

It is hard though to work in a very three dimensional business with only 2d vision...not hard for me, but my work mates suffer a lot. I once tried to get my friend to cut a small branch with a 6m pole lopper only to find that the branch I was looking at, wasn't even on the tree we were working on...it wasn't even in the same garden!

Hence the phrase, " you one eyed t**t.

Anyway, has anyone found a mesh visor with a chin guard yet?
