That's a 670/680 in the top pic. Theoretically, a Shindaiwa 598 aka CS600 should never have a "Kioritz Corp" serial number, only a Shin or Yamabiko Corp one... The one in your pic does which suggests it's a red Echo and they aren't orange Shinny's!

There's an assumption that the Shinny 598 is it but apparently not so. I think in truth it's borderline around the time they merged officially since they were parlez-vous'ing on engines and chassis 18 months prior to the merger date...

ANd then there's the photo up above...

I'm tempted, does anyone know if there's options to change from .325 to 3/8 lopro?

Have they got rim sprockets?

Anyone know what the bar mount is? I'd want to fit an S1 carving bar.

Just read the service manual👍

It has a rim sprocket so shouldn't be too difficult to swap to lopro. Couldn't see any info on the bar mount though.

It uses the same 041 mount (OREGON) as CS-500 (the only difference is tensioner located in clutch cover).

The rim is "small 7" which means it's 18720 for a 3/8 (OREGON)

Sure, you can look up analogues from other manufacturers based on this info.
