I don't charge for logs, chip, stump grindings or stumps as they are all easily shifted or made use of by myself I only charge for brash, garden waste, grass clippings etc... if I agree to take it at all which doesn't happen very often. If someone offers a few quid when dropping off logs or chip I am not going to turn it down but I don't expect paying for it.

 

I don't do much in the way of firewood so view logs as a bit of a nuisance as it wouldn't pay to hire people in to process them or to invest in processing kit myself but can always shift them a grain trailer full at a time to certain customers. Just a pain when I suddenly have a small mountain of mixed lengths & rings to sort through on my own with just a chainsaw & a fiskars X27 rather than the odd transit load which is quickly processed.

It's no problem just put the palax and browns next to it. Already done a few bags . Easy.

 

I reckon 85% of the load i got from nick went through my tajfun processor.
