No, still here in Ireland... over in New England every year on holidays, usually my holidays involve a Taurus or Charger a lot of miles and a lot of alcohol... That would be a cool drive, If you do it stop in some middle of nowhere places.... there reaction to people from so far away is priceless! Washington Is a nice city to spend a day in... pentagon tour is impressive though you see nothing exceptional!

Yep I have noticed this. Been to hicksville, pittsburgh plenty of times and the reaction there is hilarious, compared to places like florida here they don't bat an eyelid.

try Connecticut.... every barmaid, waitress etc cant chat enough... on US trips unlimited mileage on rental car is essential.... they tried to nail me for GPS so I bought a US only Tom Tom for $80 look up Cabelas if your into hunting or shooting, well worth the visit... though they ship cheap...

Its great... I get the typical Irish drinker thing. hard to avoid drink driving there though... If it wasnt for the better half I would have stayed on after my last trip..

I was reading it had its 300th homicide this year today or yesterday! I was at the port in September, massive place. Itll do me as an excuse to get away for a week, road trip from Boston for the crack..

 

My family lives just South of Baltimore and after this murder season I have no desire to ever return much less do a show in this city again. My life means more to me than being another murder stat in a city that has become a war zone:thumbdown::thumbdown:

Its different than the APF. I wouldnt say better or worse....just different. From a retailers point of view its perhaps more preferable. Most of the attendants have traveled long ways to get there, so, you know they're serious and not there just to kick the arbor trolley tyres or tell you how to do your job. The atmosphere is very up beat. Baltimore is probably the best venue. I recall the last time with Steve and some others we had a couple very memorable nights out. Say no more !

Lots of bars and restaurants.....although some local knowledge goes a long way in regards to the best venues or groups of.

like the APF Im not able to bring much gear on a plane! Id go for a look, though I can only buy harness etc, It would be interesting to see the hoists and trucks you have there...
