Pfanner Atlas rain gear

Has anyone given these a try? I know loads really rate the cut&climb and they're bringing out the trousers this month but I'm wondering what the atlas jacket and trousers would be like.

Just a quick update, I've spoken with Pfanner and they have clarified a few of my questions.

The Atlas jacket is classed as a work jacket, the Ventura is more of a leisure jacket.

The Atlas waterproof trousers are not recommended to be worn over chainsaw trousers as they are actually work pants not over trousers. They recommend the Gladiator Extreme waterproof trousers instead. I've only seen these in type A but am waiting to hear if they do a type C version.

Hope this helps some of you with decisions on waterproof gear.

Nice to know , thanks for the info. Is the Ventura jacket better for climbing because of the stretch fabric , which the Atlas doesn't have.?

That I don't know mate, probably best to contact them before a purchase. I don't climb so I never spotted that as an issue.
