Usual chainsaw question.

The time has come to actually choose what saw I'm having. The 3 options are now....

1) ECHO CS 420-ES, 18" bar, second hand

2) Stihl ms 181C-BE, 14 or 16" bar, brand new

3) Husqvarna 236, 14" bar, brand new

If it was your choice which would you go for?

You could always get one of these new thief resistant saws instead.

On a more serious note I would go with the Echo & invest in a shorter bar to go with it. If it is an Echo branded 18" bar that comes with it then keep hold of it as they are very high quality bars & it will come in handy when you upgrade to a bigger Echo saw.

I'd love a pink saw haha!

Thanks for the advice, will definitely be putting a smaller bar onto it but can't work out weather it is an ECHO bar or not....

That one does have an original ECHO bar on it at the moment, name hasn't quite worn off yet.

Thought it might be but couldn't work out for sure.

It doesn't really matter stihlmadasever, but like couldyajust says they are good quality bars so worth keeping hold of especially if I do get a larger saw in future.

Great mate nice one.As stubby says if its a 15" you dont need to buy another bar.
