Nobody mentioned GMI at sidcup in kent.

They are cheap, quick to take your money , they don't like giving credit. For some making the whole payment in one go is too hard though.

Not sure what this years cost will be as we had a 3rd party claim against us recently. I'm guessing at about 1500 quid.

If anyone else has has claims against their insurance I would be keen to know how much it affected the premiums

i was quoted around 500 a year for me on PL insurance with an income of 25-30 grand with trust as long as i had lolar and qualifications. bryant kesek said that they would only insure me if i had employee insurance for 1 groundman as well for around 800. didnt ask about lolar or salary i dont think, but i could be wrong.

When you say income are you talking turnover or profit?

Received a similar quote from Trust last week. 5m PL Ins, unlimited height and 3 metres below ground... plus a few other bits.

No,I would say it growing, there are lots of Co's to choose from now not like a few years ago.

I'm with Lycetts, used to be called Algarve.

I have 5M PL and 10M EL.

Can I be cheeky and ask in the region of what your paying for that or what sort of coverage youve got.

Im with lycetts and currently pay around £1200 for 1m Pl 10m el - but that dosent cover chainsaw use for el.
