dolly 420 or makita 4301 is a good and light and punches above its cc! shavey on here can sort you out with one (see other threads). not used an echo yet!

makita 4301 is about £270 and 5121 (50cc) anout £350 off ebay. but i can reccomend shavey more!

Can highly recommend the Dolmar 420. Stick with the narrow kerf chain and it will happily keep up with most 50cc saws regardless of make. Very snappy response on the trigger and built to last.

As Bill said a 420 would be good but another that goes overlooked is the ps-500 with all the extras or the 115

and as these saws all share chassis with several models , and. seeing you like tinkering with saws you would like pulling these models apart in years to come mixing and matching upgrading and downgrading :thumbup:
