Hcc level 2 cert arb

My first module pack arrived this week. I've not had time to open the cover yet

Glad to hear a few people on here have done this course as im thinking about doing it too!

 

Is it worth the money even though I don't know how far I want to progress in arboriculture?

I definitely want to become an arborist and want to learn more about arboriculture, other then just felling trees, so would this course be worth it? Or would I be better off doing the TKF basic Tree inspection course?

None of the course mentioned above is difficult, just a fair amount of work to do volume wise.

 

If my scanner was working i would upload some example scans, maybe HCC could send you an sample pack out via email?

I did my level 2 through HCC before starting the level 4. I would do the level 2 first as it covers some of the basics that are expanded upon at level 4. If you have lots of experience already (not practical experience) then you may be ok starting at level 4 but I am glad I did level 2 first

The level two's content will surprise you and you will learn a great deal.

If anything it'll prepare you for the (large) workload that the level four requires as I understand it.

Pretty much, I would say the workload of the level two is about a quarter or maybe a third of the level four as a guide

I'm currently at a coaching assessment day, once I've finished this I'm going to set aside an evening a week to get cracking on my level 2.
