Glastir woodland creation (Wales). Its maintenance as they call it ,if you are a orgasmic you can cut & trim if you wish .

You only spot spray 6 inch round the plant for the first 2 years ,the difference in growth is considerable compared to a streamside corridor I filled up the spaces with tree plants that didn't require any spraying to comply .Plenty of space for naturally seeded trees to spring up ,and indeed they are coming through ,its not blanket treatment in anyway.

Try telling that to the people that used to plant thousands upon thousands of trees before Roundup was invented.
