whats the difference between the 360 wes and 360 tes apart from the back handle? got a mate on the hunt for a carving saw and seen the wes is £275 which is cheap if its not a plastic home owner saw. thought this would be a good option for him if its as good was what people say of the 360tes.

I've got both and for done reason the tes seems heaps better. I have got a 16" bar on the Wes which might explain and its much newer so I'll give it time (got my yes 2nd hand) but gonna change onto a 14" bat on it 2mo so will hopefully notice done improvement.

It's still a good little saw I think but my tes just seems heaps better at the mo.

So I've used the Wes with a 14" bar and it still doesn't really compare to the tes. I still feel feel that it could give more and needs a little tuning tweeking and more time (its still quite new). I think it's a good little saw for its size and weight but the top handle is a little beauty.

any updates on this? pal of mine after a carving saw asap and the 360 wes on chainsawbars is looking tempting

well if for carving you don't need balls out power all of the time then the WES shud do I guess?

Got a 350 WES that's only had an hours use since it was serviced by SPUD last year.

Also comes with a complete 350 TES engine inc clutch & coil & Muffler etc and a few other bits.

Let me know if your interested, I'm only a firewooder and have a 420 Dolmar so the echo rarely gets a run out..

Cheers.
