Looking at various Processors .

CCa Firewood Processing Station - Ryetec Industrial Equipment Limited

SCD NT logging sawbench with conveyor - Spectrum Plant plus Splitter

Both from the same factory in Italy I believe , what do the good folks on this forum know about these machines. I know they wouldn't be the fastest and needing more lifting ,but I was wondering if they might be more versatile with a wider range of timbers from spindly clusters of hazelwood up to your 12" log, :001_smile: and maybe less money .

I noticed that the Ryetec has 12T spliter ,but the Balfor only has a 9T splitter :confused1:Riko*UK*::*SC700 Saw & Conveyor (see description) ,are there more differences .

Wonder if you have to constantly open and close the hatch to the splitting chamber on the ryetec. that would do my nut. Not sure if there is a major difference in build quality, but the hydraulically assisted bench saw, hydraulically adjustable splitting wedge, and on the button auto splitting would win me over for the ryetec.

Japa 700 would be a better processor, similar size and operating method, split ram fires automatically when a log hits a switch on the bottom of the trough in front of the ram.

A

I like the machine just need a stronger Splitter 10T +, for twisty knotty hardwoods.
