You need to slow the PTO speed down a wee touch has them Potato's are going to be bruised bouncing round like that .

That cab is clean .

I use high PTO speed because I want clean up potatoes on grass roots and mold.

What's the length of your growing season? Why not flail the tops off first?

 

I flail tops of couple weeks ago, We plant this potatoes on first week on June and this time of year We usually harvest potatoes.

1000 PTO probably explains why machine is shaking itself to death but I see you point for cleaning .

Is this because the ground becomes too frozen to harvest later?

Actually I use 540 PTO for that machine, that shake system is quite powerfully...
