Sorry to hijack.

Would a non-pro like me whose not chopped his head off yet with rear handled saws be instantly killed using one of these saws for light pruning?

No, it's the tendency to use a top handle one handed, which is why sales are restricted.

Not showing off, but I handle a rear handled saw as if it were the Devils razor coated wang. I don't think I'd ever take my other hand off the saw to move wood away, whatever.

If I'm super careful and mindful of this would it be feasable that I could control one?

I'd want a 10" bar on it, so kickback shouldn't be such a biggy? :confused1:

Be sensible, watch for the kickback zone and pinching the bar, keep two hands on and your body in the right position and you should be fine.

Why bother with a topper, unless you're going to climb or use a mewp? 10" bar you'd be better suited to the ms150

Sorry I think I've derailed the thread. But yes MS150 is nice. But expensive compared to cheap toppers. :thumbup1:

Ok, I tried to be polite, asking in the best way possible to avoid this as it was VERY important to me to get quick first hand reports on this.

Instead, you have actually posted more times than any other individual and had no input on the thread title.

So piss off and start your own thread!
