Zigzag on 11.3mm?

Zigzag and Zillon are the perfect combo.

I see where you're coming from regarding the black rope, it s very firm and it's characteristics are similar to a wire core flip line.

I just prefer something a bit more supple for changeovers and secondary anchors etc..

I have used my velocity line with zigzag and Spiderjack. The zigzag was jerky on descent, since the rope flattens quite easily. It's made for a SJ/LJ though. Superb tending and descent.

If you want to use a ZZ I'd go with 11.5 mm like Tachyon

Thanks Joe, I'm now looking into going full srt

Exactly! That's my point mate...it is reasuringly thick....unlike today's climbing line which is a new 11 mm i am testing....

Yep! The transition to 11mm is certainly noticeable.

The other guys on our team were like;

"You're not going to climb on that are you??" :)

I'm the opposite, I've recently gone from 11mm velocity and blaze to 11.5mm Tachyon

Not sure if I like it. Feels bulky.

That's what I liked about the Aeris, it felt very unhindered. Pair of cheap grippy gloves with the fingers lopped off... Job done.
